We are surrounded by toxins on a daily basis, some of which we can’t necessarily avoid exposure to, but there are a large majority that we can eliminate from being mindful of the foods we choose to consume. 

 

The Standard American diet is full of toxic ingredients from food chemicals to preservatives, artificial colorings, and not to mention the heavy metals, BPA, and glyphosate that tends to pop up in our food supply.

The best practice would be to eat organic fruits and vegetables, whole grains,nuts, seeds, beans and legumes.  Omit dairy, processed foods, oils, sugar, alcohol,and yes even chicken, meat, and fish. 

Some may want to gradually make changes but any positive change is a step in the right direction!

While the foods and water we consume can both be big offenders when it comes to toxin exposure, personal care products can also significantly increase how many toxins we come in contact with everyday. Many of these chemicals are endocrine disruptors and known carcinogens.
